American Journal of Indic Studies (AJIS) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the American Academy of Indic Studies (AAIS). AJIS publishes papers "on all aspects of Indic Studies, and their interdisciplinary studies in all of the disciplines of Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Public Affairs, and other Interdisciplinary areas including (but not limited to) Anthropology, Archaeology, Arts and Art History, Diaspora Studies, Ethical Thought, Ecological & Environmental Studies, Film Studies, Gender Studies, History & Culture, Human Geography, India-America relations, Indic Elements & Hindu-Buddhist relations in Asia, Languages & Linguistics, Media Studies, Philosophy, Politics & Public Administration, Religious Studies, Social Work, and Sociology."

eSocial Sciences and Humanities (eSSH) is a peer reviewed online social sciences and humanities journal. eSSH is a part of www.esocialsciences.org, a long standing and reputed social sciences portal. It will publish work in all the fields of inquiry within the Social Sciences and Humanities.

History of Science in South Asia: "HSSA publishes the latest international research in the history of science in South Asia.  Submissions to HSSA are peer-reviewed by senior professionals in the history of science.  Authors are not charged any article-processing fee and authors retain the copyright of their work, releasing it under a Creative Commons BY-SA license.  HSSA provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public is the most effective way to support the growth of knowledge. "

IQAS is a forum for multidisciplinary research on current and historical topics relevant to politics, economics and society in contemporary Asia. It seeks to make the results of social science research on Asia known to a broader public beyond the circle of regional specialists and to provide a solid and informed basis for the public discourse about Asia. (...) The International Quarterly for Asian Studies is one of  Germany's leading journals on Asia. Founded by Detlev Kantowsky and Alois Graf von Waldburg-Zeil in 1970."

Journal of South Asian Studies : "Journal of South Asian Studies is an open access peer-reviewed international academic journal covering the study area of modern South Asia pertaining to its politics, history, literature, arts, cultural and social studies, economy and security matters, and international affairs with linkage of immediate Asian regions."

The Journal of Dharma Studies: Philosophy, Theology, Ethics, and Culture employs "theoretical and empirical methodologies for the intersubjective understanding of, and real-world applications of the conceptual resources, textual sources, and experiential practices—including ritual, social, ethical, liturgical, contemplative, or communitarian—to foster critical-constructive reflections on Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist traditions (what is now referred to as Dharma Studies)."

South Asian Review, a refereed journal of the South Asian Literary Association (est. 1976), presents an international scholarly forum for the discussion and evaluation of South Asian languages, literatures, culture, and arts in postcolonial context. SAR welcomes submissions from any theoretical or critical perspective meant for an audience from various disciplines and written in clear and persuasive prose.

The South Asianist : "The South Asianist is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal for early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences whose work contributes to South Asian studies. The Journal provides a platform for young scholars to present and discuss their work, meet other scholars with similar interests, and spur critical debate on the socio-economic, political, cultural and religious aspects that both define South Asia as a region and divide it into single units of analysis."
